Every child deserves access to technology. We're building the bridge to make it happen.

We transform recycled devices into digital opportunity – for students, families, and communities across the country

Our Origin: A Personal Journey Toward Digital Equity.

Our world is changing at a pace never seen before. While technology continues to leap forward, billions of people remain offline, under-skilled, and unconnected. Today, nearly 1.5 billion adults have no education past primary school, and 3 billion people have never accessed the internet. This is not just a technological issue; it’s a human crisis—a widening digital skills gap that threatens opportunity, equity, and economic stability for generations.

Our Mission: Leading the E-Revolution.

The Digital Education Foundation exists to close that gap by leading what we call the E-Revolution—a global movement to ensure that access to technology, connectivity, and education is a right, not a privilege.

We tackle this mission by addressing the 3 A’s of digital exclusion: Affordability, Access, and Ability. Through refurbished technology, community-centered digital hubs, grassroots training initiatives, and strategic public-private partnerships, we create pathways for people of all ages to become confident, capable digital citizens.

Our Vision: A Digitally Literate Society.

We envision a world where no one is left behind by the digital age. Every computer donated and every lesson taught brings us closer to that reality—empowering underserved individuals with the tools they need to learn, work, and thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Whether you are a corporation looking to make a tangible impact, a community leader seeking to empower your neighborhood, or a donor wanting to fund real change, you are not just supporting a cause—you are helping rewrite the future.
Join us in closing the digital divide and leading the E-Revolution.

OUR MODEL: BRIDGING
SUSTAINABILITY AND EDUCATION

At the Digital Education Foundation, we operate a one-of-a-kind impact model that merges environmental sustainability with digital opportunity

Our strategic partner, eSmart Recycling, collects and refurbishes donated technology from individuals and businesses. DEF then leads the charge, transforming these recycled devices into tech hubs, digital education programs, and long-term community empowerment.

eSmart provides the fuel. DEF ensures the issue of digital access is tackled at the root cause.
